Qui est Julie 

Native de Hawkesbury et profondément attachée à sa communauté, Julie œuvre localement dans le secteur public depuis près de 20 ans.

Conseillère municipale depuis 2022, elle est reconnue pour son implication communautaire, son approche indépendante et sa volonté de défendre les intérêts des citoyens.

Au cours de son mandat, elle a participé à plusieurs initiatives communautaires, soutenu des organismes locaux, organisé des cliniques d’impôt gratuites et siégé sur plusieurs conseils d’administration régionaux et communautaires.

Julie termine sous peu ces études en administration publique au Collège Boréal afin de continuer à mieux servir sa communauté.

Who is Julie 

Born and raised in Hawkesbury, deeply committed to her community, Julie  has worked locally in the public sector for nearly 20 years.

A municipal councillor since 2022, she is recognized for her community involvement, independent approach, and commitment to defending the interests of residents.

During her term, she has participated in many community initiatives, supported local organizations, organized free community tax clinics, and served on several regional and community boards.

Julie is currently completing her studies in Public Administration at Collège Boréal in order to continue serving her community more effectively.

My Commitment to Hawkesbury

Depuis mon élection au conseil municipal en 2022, je me suis engagée à être une conseillère municipale présente, accessible et impliquée dans notre communauté. Mon approche a toujours été basée sur l’écoute des citoyens, la transparence, le respect des contribuables et la volonté de faire avancer Hawkesbury de façon responsable.

Since being elected to municipal council in 2022, I have worked to be a present, accessible, and involved councillor within our community. My approach has always been based on listening to residents, transparency, respect for taxpayers, and a commitment to moving Hawkesbury forward responsibly.

During my term, I have actively participated in many community initiatives and local organizations.

Clinique d’impôt communautaire

En partenariat avec la Clinique juridique populaire de Hawkesbury, j’ai contribué à organiser quatre cliniques d’impôt gratuites en :

• mars 2026

Ces cliniques ont permis de produire gratuitement plus de 400 déclarations de revenus pour des citoyens de notre communauté.

Community Tax Clinic

In partnership with the Hawkesbury Community Legal Clinic, I helped organize four free community tax clinics in:

• March 2023
• March 2024
• March 2025
• March 2026

These clinics helped prepare more than 400 tax returns free of charge for local residents.

• Participated in the Hawkesbury Professional Firefighters’ Boot Drive to raise funds for cystic fibrosis

Comme conseillère municipale, j’ai toujours tenté de prendre des décisions réfléchies et indépendantes, même lorsque celles-ci étaient difficiles ou impopulaires.
